Yes, you can create courses on any website plan. To sell courses, you must have a Business or Commerce plan or purchase the Digital Products Add-On.

Courses on Squarespace are powered by Fluid Engine, so you can include video, image, text, or audio content, or even include downloadables.

With Courses, you’ll get access to Squarespace’s best-in-class design and sell beautiful, multimedia online courses that include videos, sequential lessons, chapters, and progress tracking. You can also sell in combination with other content types, like memberships or videos, and take advantage of other tools, like custom print-on-demand merchandise and the Squarespace marketing suite.

To sell courses, you must have a Business or Commerce plan, or add a Digital Products subscription to any website plan. We charge a 9% transaction fee on Digital Products sales with a Squarespace Business or Commerce plan, but you can lower this fee by adding a Digital Products Add-On to your subscription. The transaction fee is lowered to 7% with the Starter add-on, 3% with Core, or 0% with Pro. Credit card processor fees will still apply with all plans and add-ons.
